Message There has been a lot of talk about this and it appears that there is a big misconception about what has been done.

What it is not:
-You dont put the intercooler in water and freeze it into a solid block in a freezer. While this would be an interesting approach that would work with good success, that's not what's being done.

-It also has nothing to do with pre-cooling the FMIC and making a pull.

WHAT IT IS:
-There are two NOS nozzles installed in front of the intercooler which spray N2O onto the cooler during the pull. It is triggered by a WOT switch which is installed on top of the plenum near the throttle body control. This is simply to lower the temperature of the cooler which makes the charged air inside the intercooler a bit denser. This adds power.

The only reason I brought this up is because it appears that people seem to think this is some sort of 'unfair' technique and that its not applicable on the road. I assure you, it is perfectly streetable and performs on the road just like it does on the dyno. Wagz and Patrick (Outlaw Racing) are a good case and point of this fact. I've heard and seen a few people say "It is not a real-world HP/TQ number". I can assure you that the car producing those numbers on the dyno by implementing this technique will also make that power all the way down the track. It is no more or less "real world" than putting turbos on a naturally aspirated engine - it will assuredly make more power.

The nice thing about Wagz car is that it was fully tuned and peak power realized for running solely on turbos and also tuned for the same using the NOS. There's a good bit of data in the results. Once he takes it to the strip, you will see that full xxxRWHP XXXRWTQ muscle that beaut down the 1320' and you will be able to see for your own piece of mind that it is, in fact, a real-world number.

Thanks for reading this long ass post, I hope to have enlightened some of you and I hope I haven't offended anyone in the process.
